Barbara Arbanas Ferreira, a researcher and Head of Research Dept. at CoE MARBLE, obtained her PhD in Electrical Engineering in Feb. 2022 with a thesis \\Decentralized Mission Planning for Heterogeneous Robotic Teams.\\ She has specialised in multi-robot coordination, AI, planning, and optimisation. She has contributed to various international projects under FP7, H2020, and Horizon Europe frameworks. She led the UNIZG-FER team to win the prestigious MBZIRC 2023 competition and has since been recognised with the Danubius Young Scientist Award and the IEEE Croatia Section Outstanding Engineer Award in 2025. Her work includes a book chapter, 9 journal articles, and 14 conference papers.
